The creation of the HB Archive x Shrunk Store Baby Bag collaboration was one of the driving forces behind the inception of Shrunk Store.
We are motivated by the idea of reinterpreting some of the essential “pre-baby” products as “post-baby” necessities. This is how our Baby Bag (with Nappy Satchel) was born - an adaptation of the iconic HB Archive Market Bag & Always Pouch.
HB Archive is a locally made-to-order clothing and accessories label. Founded by Holly in 2016, with the intention to create a well fitting, sustainable and trans-seasonal wardrobe not influenced by current trends.
The Market Bag is the earliest item still present within HB Archive. Made after falling in love with the perfect weight and speckled texture of a natural organic cotton canvas. The initial shape was inspired by a friend's shopping bag that they wore like a handbag. The straps and body proportions were finalised using the width of the fabric, mindful of potential waste.

The original SHRUNK STORE collaboration set was sewn by Holly specially for Myra (Shrunk Store Founder) from a bonded brown and orange cotton that had been passed through many hands. The satchel pouch is a plus sized twist on the Always pouch, featuring striped seersucker lining and binding. Subtle matching details, and made with love.
